Great PERSIAN food The previous review mistakenly called the food at Ali Baba's Indian. This is not Indian food and I did not see anything close to Indian food on the menu. It is Persian and some Lebanese. That explains why he said it wasn't "authentic." There are Indian restaurants in Tucson, however, Ali Baba is not one of them. Ali Baba Restaurant has great service and Persian food If you are looking for very good Persian food Restaurant, this is the place. The Falafel and the Kabobs with Saffron rice is wonderful. Will keep going back. Since I have tried Persian food here and love it, I have tried Persian food in San Diego and San Clemente, CA. Ali Baba's food is better. I have had very good service here. Avoid! I was excited to find a place here in Tucson to try some good Persian food. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The food itself is just ok. The owner lectured me for 15 minutes on why I should order one of his Persian Kabobs and not the dish I had ALREADY ORDERED! I felt like I was in a used car lot. Good Indian Food. A good indian restaurant - by Tucsons standards. The food and service here is good, although not too authentic! Some of the dishes are spicy but not as much as they should be! Still very enjoyable though!
Fast Middle Eastern Food – This is the best option for middle eastern food I have yet to find in Tucson. Granted, the atmosphere may be lacking and the food may be sitting under warming lamps but it is still great food. The flavors are traditional and the portions generous. The desserts are the real treat though, with numerous delicious middle eastern pastries. Value is great.
