I’ve had good food (the kebabs) and inedible food (the lahmajun), but the service is consistently mediocre to poor. It’s one of the only authentic Turkish restaurants in the area, but I wish they would up their game a little.
Such fresh, lovely food! It’s such a treat to have fresh bread made in time for your meal. Flavorful profiles, tender meats, lovely vegetarian options!
Ive been here twice now and both times all the food was excellent. Service was great. When I didn't understand the menu, staff was gracious and willing to help me understand and decide.
Last night we went out for dinner and ate shawarma, supposedly Iskender (a type of kebab). I've never seen anything like it in my life; it was terrible, we couldn't eat it. Also, the waiters provided very poor service; the bread was burnt. I've never seen such a restaurant before. I don't recommend going to Ali Baba Restaurant; you'll regret it.
