As a Air Force employee, we are allotted three hours of workout time during the work week. I went to Dr. Ali's practice for the purpose of simply getting a signature deeming me physically fit. However, First Valley Medical Group coded my bill as a "sports related visit" when I had zero intention of doing anything but exercise in the gym. What this did was force my insurance to not cover the visit and thus put a $250 bill on my plate.
