After previously being dismissed by another rheumatologist I was extremely hesitant and nervous seeing another. Dr. Amin and his staff listened to all my concerns, validated what I was feeling, diagnosed me and provided options for treatment. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Amin and the staff for their kindness when it’s no longer the norm for healthcare.
Best rheumatologist I've ever been to! I've had rheumatoid arthritis since infancy so I've seen quite a few in my 47 years. But he took immediate action and listened to my concerns and no other has ever really done that for me. I've always been made to feel I was a background character in my own care and condition. His nurse was fantastic too btw! I'm looking forward to getting some real relief for the first time in a long time.
I’m and RN and this was Absolutely my worst experience with an MD. If you’re looking for a quick fibromyalgia diagnosis and to have a doctor tell you to do yoga and see a psychiatrist after not listening to any of your concerns - go here. After reading through his clinical notes and seeing that he stated I was negative for Several of the symptoms I was actually seeing him for - it’s obvious he wasn’t listening. I filed a grievance as I shouldn’t be charged $300 for an exam that didn’t take place & Henry Ford backed him.
I saw the Doctor complaining of extreme pain attacks ,he gave a blood work that after 1 month , and I am still waiting for results ,and I got the attack twice ,and still waiting for Doctor.I expected more from Henry ford system , but they don't act like they care ,or with any urgency to help with your problems .very disappointed with Doctor Ali Amin ,and Henry Ford.
