Con artists. They charged me $800 to replace a toilet. A brand new, nice toilet costs $200 maybe $300 if you get a really nice one. It should take a skilled plumber (the one who did this work allegedly has 40+ years of experience) 30-45 minutes to replace a toilet. So unless they are charging $1200 an hour for labor you will get robbed by this company. Gerard promptly returned my calls & gave me insights over a few phone calls on how to best determine what my issue was. He gave me a fair quote (unlike several other companies that charge you $109 to come to your house then give you the quote) for a hot water heater replacement. He and his assistant called before arriving & were very pleasant & professional. He also repaired an outdoor spigot for us. All around very pleased w/ our first experience with Algonquin Plumbing & will use them again.
