Good people with all the stuff you could ever want or need to go canoeing and camping
First time going to the Algonquin Magnetawan access point, and Basecamp was an absolute pleasure to work with booking gear and picking up for our trip. Their 17ft canoes are outstanding for space for larger trips and/or bringing kids, and are very stable and quick. The little shop is excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice people, nice rental Canoes. I have only rented Canoes from another outfitter at the southern end of the park. I friend talked me into going to the "north end" and he booked canoes from Algonquin Basecamp. I was very happy with the service and canoes. When I go back I will use them again. Also the winter trip looks amazing! I hope I can adjust my schedule to make one of trips they lead.
