We have rented from Basecamp many times over the years. Always a great experience with very good equipment. The shop has those essentials that you need in case you forgot anything.
Loved renting from this location. Easy to chat with over the phone or email about your trip and very knowledgeable! Our 3 canoes were in great condition and the bear barrel with harness worked great. Recommend getting delivery too
I rented canoes and canoeing gear from Algonquin Basecamp for a portage trip, and Robin was incredibly organized and responsive through email. The canoes were delivered directly to Access Point #3, with everything perfectly arranged and clearly explained.
Great prices, equipment, and even better owners. Went out of their way to help us when our car needed a tow during thr trip.
Always use the Basecamp when renting a canoe for Rain Lake Excellent canoes . Friendly and efficient staff at the store will get you on your way.
