DR. ALFRED IS THE FINEST PULMONOLOGIST. HE IS PROFESSIONAL AND CARING. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN GOING TO HIM SINCE 2006. HE IS VERY THOROUGH AND LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED TO TREAT YOU.
this doctor's office overbooks patients and runs his practice like a walk in clinic, your scheduled appointment time means nothing at this doctor's offices. his office staff is often frustrated and it shows in the reviews online. Alfred is a good doctor who runs a shabby practice when it comes to scheduling, caveat emptor. with end stage COPD in a pandemic the last thing I need is to be hanging around for an appointment with a doctor who does not honor his commitments when appointments are made. I wonder if he charges someon... read more
I was referred to Dr Alfred by my PCP. I have found him to be very thorough, provides explanations using X-rays etc and provides written materials for after visit reference. In addition to his clinical expertise, his staff arranges appts for for other services as needed and provides info needed for collaboration with other care providers. As a retired RN, I would recommend this caring, empathetic physician.
My primary care physician recommended and sent in a referral to Dr Alfred. He has refused to take me as a patient, with no explanation what so ever. I never had a problem with a doctor prior to him. I still have no idea what the problem could be. No I would not recommend him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Alfred for over 8 years He is easy to understand and talk with. He gives me all the time we need and I never feel rushed. I have total trust in him. His office staff have always been kind and caring. I was kept waiting at one appointment as he was still at the hospital with a critical patient. Otherwise he is always on time. Pam, his nurse, is very competent and pleasant to work with.
I have been Dr. Alfred's patient since 2007. He is very helpful with any questions I have and shows me the xrays that I get periodically so I know what he is explaining to me. His manner is caring and informative and I wish he could be my Doctor for other health problems. Would recommend him t anyone.
Long unessecary waits. Rude staff. Office girl scolded and got accusing when she called to switch my appointment from Pam (nurse practitioner) to Alfred. When I hesitated and mentioned the long waits to see Alfred for routine appointments, she became offensive in tone and manner. She encouraged me to get a different doctor. I liked Pam, she was prompt and very smart. They later sent a letter releasing me as a patient. I do not recommend this clinic. They will waste your time.
Dr. Alfred cared for my wife in 2010 when she had a collapsed lung, and her cancer returned after 27 years to force the collapse. He treated her again in November and December 2015. Although I lost her January 1, 2016, I was very pleased with the examination and treatment that Dr. Alfred and the rest5 of her team provided. He is a good doctor, has excellent patient relationships, and I would recommend him in a heart beat!
