I started with this clinic when I was first Diagnosed. I had three phone calls and one in visit with this clinic. I decided that this clinic was not meeting my needs and the reception office and communication with this clinic is absolutely terrible. The amount of times my appointment has been moved, the amount of times I never got a callback and I when I did leave a voicemail cancelling appointments or, relaying to the clinic that I have now found a better doctor and clinic to cover my needs. I was with my mom when my mom received a call from their clinic, their secretary asking my mom to call her family doctor's office to ask to forward her lab results to their clinic, "I was like the secretary should be the one doing that, doctors office to another one." My mom was puzzled too because she has been seen by Dr. Verdejo multiple times already. Met over-the-phone once for chronic muscle cramping. I was quickly prescribed hydroxychloroquine. Didn’t like this approach, struck me as irresponsible. I discussed with my GP and he thought the prescription was overkill/careless. I didn’t fill it and thought that was the end of that but no. Strangely, I have continued to received notifications for appointment bookings. I do not confirm them and yet still my phone rings at the appointment time. Odd. Pleasant and communicative receptionist who contacted me regarding my referral in a timely manner and with following up on the appointment. Dr. is knowledgeable, takes time to explain and provide resources to learn more and was also pleasant in his interactions. Recommend.
