Sharing 11 mo post-FUT with Dr Barrera for female forehead reduction. No previous hair loss or skin texture issues. Only multiples visible at the front of the hairline.
As a 63 year old woman, Dr. Barrera changed my life. I look like I feel now - so many years younger than I truly am. The surgery and healing period has been pain free with only some discomfort. I did not have to take the prescribed pain pills, only over the counter Tylenol and not many of those either. Dr. Barrera is a miracle worker. I have now recommended Dr. Barrera to all my friends. My family and friends are overwhelmed with how well I look. I actually enjoy looking in the mirror now.
This is for the ladies! I am writing this because I want to help someone else from going through the same painful process I have gone through. If you are thinking about having a hair transplant DO NOT have it until you go to a dermatologist and have a biopsy to really know the cause of the hair loss. After I had the hair transplants I found out I have a type of alopecia that will, no matter what, make me lose my hair. I wish I had known that before I had the procedures. It would have saved me a lot of heart ache.
Dr. Ruff is very empathetic and patient when explaining everything about a reconstruction revision. He also helped with removing a very stubborn sature left from the other surgeon. All the ladies at the front desk very nice and bilungual. Muchas gracias.
The entire staff and Dr Barrera went out of their way to listen and explain every question I had. The follow up was incredible. Dr Barrera called me twice to check on me after my procedure. His staff is top shelf. I would highly recommend Dr Barrera and his team.
