Disappointing experience. I had my tyre replaced at Alfa Automotive & Tyre Centre, and they charged extra just to refit the spare wheel back to its original position. Their explanation was: “No one would install it for free.” In my experience, refitting the spare wheel is normally part of a standard tyre replacement service and should not be charged separately, unless there is a special issue such as a seized or damaged mechanism — which was not the case here.
