I provide a family friendly, foreign auto repair service, with a straight up approach. I explain every repair in detail, so the customer clearly understands the costs involved. I am a consumer advocate for new customers whohave had difficulty with other shops in the past. Most of my customers have Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Nissan or Subaru. With over 25 years in the Ben Lomond location, I am your personal master technician for all of your foreign automotive repairs.

Alex is the Man! He's the most honest mechanic I've ever had work on my car and I'm grateful that I found him. My car has been running strong ever since Alex started working on it. He works out of his home so there are perhaps a few things that he can't do that a full service shop would be able to but he is very honest about what he can and can't do. If you want piece of mind that your car is in good hands with a mechanic who won't rip you off then I can't recommend Alex enough!
Excellent! – I have a twenty year old Toyota Pickup with 240,000 miles. The third and fourth gears of the transmission went out. I found Alex on the internet. He put in a used transmission, for a very low price, in a very short time. It's only been a few days, but so far it seems to work perfectly. He is a very good mechanic and very honest.
Turning away from tried and true To True and True – Alex brings some integrity to this work, swear it. I was so freakin amazed driving away. I've drivin away from some highly rated very trusted mechanics in Santa Cruz, but I've never had the kind of fine tuning and adjustments that left my car driving so strongly and responsively as it did when I left Alex's shop, cross my heart and hope to die. so do i find this place in a backyard? My sister went there, got charged alot of money and then could not get a warranty. How do you turn someone into the better business bureau when you realize after the fact that it isn't a business? I tried to tell her, but she thought she was getting a deal since he works in his yard. glad others had good luck, maybe it's one of those things that you just learn from experience.
