She looks at you as a number. I was going to the a1a facility and seeing a doctor. When they closed or slightly before I was transferring to her -horrible mistake- wasn't getting previous meds- non narcotic. I have never had to go see so many different doctors for the same reason. Was not a good fit for me, I did not need any special treatment or anything I felt negligence in how she treated me when I needed a prescription or medication for my hives she told the front desk that I should go to an urgent care which I don’t understand the reason I established with her as my primary doctor was she’s my first contact if needed i just needed help not any Special treatment.
Alexis is wonderful. Her receptionist how ever is needing to go. And parking is a joke. Arrive early and can't find a parking spot drove around for 20 minutes to find one then late for appointment . It's unfortunate I do like NP. Houser.
Just when I thought I would never find a really good PCP I gave NP Houser a try. What an absolute life saver. Within two visits she straightened out problems I was dealing with for years and lead me to specialists that got to the bottom of problems quickly. Worth the drive from Vero! Staff is professional, billing effecient, and you have a skilled NP that out performed my last two doctors. Firm but not judgemental, factual but listens with empathy. In this day and age, when you finally find a doctor that actually cares and listens to your concerns and then goes out of their way to help you with those concerns, it proves that the system does work sometimes. Alexis Houser is one of those people!
