Carol and staff were absolute gems in a remote area. The rooms were spotless and the hotel was quiet and well cared for. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The water was beautiful to see out my window and I could hear the loons calling in the evening. Thank you!!!

The Alexis Hotel is directly on the water! The rooms are like your standard room, nice and clean. The addition of a small refrigerator in the rooms would be a bonus. There is a restaurant in the hotel plus a Greco Pizza Express so the bases are covered.

I had the most lovely experience at Alexis hotel. I was on a huge bike trip and after couple of days in the forest i found that place of heaven. The rooms are nice, the staff so kind and the food tasty 🫶 i would 100% recommand !!! @petit_donnie

Not much selection for dog friendly accommodations in the area. Carol was amazing! The food was wonderful. The place is under renovations so I expect it will greatly improve, but the rooms we were in were below standard. The carpet was seriously frayed. The bed covers were ripped and stains. The towels were stained and the shower was like playing Russian roulette with the temperature. But we do appreciate having a place to stay in such a remote area.

There are no amenities. No coffee machine no microwave and no frig. Bed blanket torn. Lamp shade shredded. Black out curtains had holes, and an over powering smell of bleach. Requested face cloth and towel and was met with disapproval. All in all not a pleasant experience.
