Purchasing a wedding gown here turned into an emotional and disappointing ordeal. I trusted the boutique’s expertise when they encouraged me to make some alterations to create my "perfect one of a kind custom Monique Lhuillier gown" which was a nice touch to make the sale, but, as you can see by this photo, it was in vain since the dress I received was.... not that at all. I went to Alexia's and bought my dress this past week with my mom, grandma, sister, and two of my best friends! We had the most amazing experience!! I had been communicating with my lovely sales associate, Chloe, for a few weeks prior about the vision for my dress, and she had the most beautiful options picked out for me when I got there. For a bridal salon that markets themselves as providing a luxury/couture experience, their service and attention to detail was greatly lacking. Regarding positive aspects of my experience, they have a wide selection of beautiful gowns, and I was very pleased with the service when selecting my gown. The primary reason I am giving one star is related to the tailoring/cleaning (or lack thereof). I had a wonderful experience at Alexia's Bridal! This was the first shop I visited when searching for wedding dresses this past February and I bought the first dress I tried on. Before the appointment, the shop took a lot of time to learn my preferences and had dresses selected to try on that I had sent photos of or ones that seemed to fit my vibe. I had a very good experience at Alexia’s and would definitely recommend this boutique to others! They were having a Sareh Nouri trunk show to display her current collection, however I found a gown on Sareh’s website from an older collection that I liked and I asked Alexia’s if they could call the designer and have it sent to the store for me to try on. They were able to do this for me and I ended up buying the gown during my appointment. I had my gown altered here as well and the seamstress was able to tailor it so that it f... read more
