I came to this doctor requesting a thigh lift for loose skin on my upper thighs. He insisted I did not need a thigh lift and liposuction would fix my issue. The liposuction left my legs deformed and the loose skin is significantly worse than before. I now have to have additional liposuction from other parts of my body and fat transfer to fill in the large hollows left by the unnecessary liposuction in addition to having the thigh lift I initially requested. I am shocked to see all these 5 star reviews,I waited 1 year and 7 months to post,i wanted to be patient and fair to see if anything changed with my procedures,I had liposuction on belly,suppose to have flanks as well, not sure he did that at all,but it didn't work,I'm not complaining much about that because he said I would probly end up with loose skin,it wasn't loose much just no results at all at flanks,a little noticable under belly button only and my upper eyes and lower,not very good either,the upper is a tiny improved... read more
Dr. Markelov has been a Godsend. He performed liposuction on my legs to treat my Lipedema. It has changed my life. I can now walk without a cane, exercise in a pool at least 3x’s a week, and am pain free. The surgery relieved the acute heaviness and pain in my thighs. Dr. Markelov is very knowledgeable about Lipedema as well as being a skilled surgeon. He also was very easy to deal with and his staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Markelov and his practice!
I could not be happier with the experience had with Dr. Markelov and his staff. Everyone I interacted/corresponded with was polite and considerate, and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Markelov himself is incredibly skilled and really took the time to listen to my concerns and walk me through everything. The results honestly exceeded expectations, and I'd recommend him to anyone thinking about going this route. If you're on the fence, go for it — you won't regret it!
