I have been a customer for over 20 years and the service has been consistently excellent. I have purchased rugs, send rugs in to be cleaned annually and had in home cleaning of my carpeted stairs and basement many times. They move my furniture, roll up my rugs and return them and put them back exactly as they were. They take pride in their service and products. My story begins 5 years ago, in the heart of the pandemic, the eve before the closure of non-essential shopping. I was moving into my first unfurnished apartment and I desperately needed furniture. I ended up buying a large shag area rug for my living room, which cost me $200. It made my small grad student apartment feel like home. I was incorrectly quoted the cost of cleaning. The correct amount was $50 min. That was ok. We spilled red wine on a silk area rug, and tried soda water immediately, then 2 days later I took it in for cleaning. The stain was unchanged and now there was a horrible nap/texture to the area rug instead of the beautiful silk sheen it had when I took it in. I’ve returned it to the Main St location and they did make it right
I've used Alexanians Carpet Cleaning for at least 20 years ow, nornally, I dealt with Duncan, he was amazing but he has moved to another dept in Alexanians. I wanted to get fwo of my area rugs cleaned, 1 from, Alexanians and the other an antique, i've sent tbem to Alex the last 2 times. Today, I called the 1-800 # and had someone by the name of Dakota take my call.
