Seemed a bit put out since I was just up for the week on vacation and wasn't likely to be back as a regular. Not sure if it was that or my politics. Small town, not very friendly if you're from the Cities or supportive of Democratic views.
My regular vet was unable to fit me in when my cat was sick. Dr. Kraker and his staff made sure to squeeze us in on a Friday. My cat is elderly and something small can turn into an emergency so quickly in our seniors. They recognized that and made us feel very welcome. The front desk staff is outstanding. Great job! I'm going to transfer all of my vet care to them.
Been going to Dr. K for over 10 years and have regretted going elsewhere..Best Vet. in the vicinity !!1

As a business owner myself, my visit with the Alexandria''s Animal Doctor was excellent. Very thorough, straightforward and compassionate. Dr Kraker and his staff have cared for our pets for several years-would highly recommend!
I have a large Bernese mountain dog that likes to sometimes chase raccoons! Well he over did it and could not take more than 2 - 3 steps the next morning. We were certain that he seriously injured his spine. After looking at the X-rays, doctor Bill thought he could help without surgery. After 4 days of anti inflammatory medicine, prednisone and a steroid, "Yoda" came home walking and running like new! Staff is always professional, would not use any other veterinarian!
The best in Alexandria for vets! Brought in my dog for quick trim, very courtious and understanding of what my dog needed. Definitely going back! Thank you animal doctor!
