A practice of caring, competent and knowledgeable Vets and staff. I like the fact that they are open 7 days a week.
i have taken my dogs, and FFA projects there for years and they always work with me on the prices and truly care about the animals i take in.
I disagree with the reviews. After running all the tests they recommended for my cat, including a urine test, they misdiagnosed a urine tract infection correctly,. As a result they mis-medicated and gave my cat anti anxiety medications unnecessarily. They treated the behavoirs, and not the cause. This lasted for 3 months. Sometimes I would call or visit them twice a week in desperation. All that time, all the tests they ran and still they still got it wrong. I have been using Dr.Flenniken for eight years after we recently moved from Castle Rock. He has been absolutely awesoem with us. He has helped us so much, and has helped as my Border Collie pup has aged. She started there as a pup, and is now 8 years old. Then I took my other Border Collie pup Toby there as well. He is now almost four. Weve also been taking our cats there as well. Dr. Flenniken is always so kind and understanding with us, no matter what reason were there for.
Took my 4.5 year old bearded dragon into Schotman today for a checkup. She had a little infection growing under her mouth, rock solid and started getting bigger by the day. he was very gentle with her, took a sample determined what it was.. and wrote me a prescription.. walked out of there with a \$65 bill.. examine, syringes, little vial of baytril and all. I have been with AP for about 6 years. The vets are wonderful there. My Angel and Chiquitas Dr. is Dr. Clark. he is very thorough and really cares about your pets!
The office is clean, and looks (and smells) more like a medical doctors office than a vets. Dr. Schomburg is knowledgable and compassionate. The prices are a little higher than some of the other vets available, but (especially in an emergency) it is well worth it.

Extremely caring animal facility. Honest and trustworthy. Very helpful in understanding all decisions necessary to properly care for your animals. Dr. Schotman has been our "family" doctor for nearly a decade and we will continue to recommend him to everyone possible. Thank you to the entire staff for their dedication and hard work.
