Dr Southard was a wonderful vet and person. This is no longer his clinic. I so not care for Dr Simpson or his staff. The extra charges he weasels in are ridiculous. He charges 10 dollars to approve a script through Chewy. My Dogs heartworm meds cost me an extra 30 dollars for "processing fees". I don't trust them to care for any animal.
New owner Dr Simpson is an arrogant individual. He treats his employees horribly which you can tell by the tense atmosphere. He also thinks charging $10 for him to sign a pharmacy refill request is warranted but then will only do 3 months at a time. $40 a yr per med refill is outrageous. He also decided mandatory heart worm lab work per pet each year is needed even when they are on preventatives.
