Botched my surgery, admitted to accidentally leaving tissue behind, refused to fix it and offered only worse options bc she messed up the initial surgery so badly. Horrible chop shop unless you are skinny and kiss her butt and agree with her aesthetic ideals.
Dr. Schmidek was an absolutely amazing surgeon. I am so happy with my results and so thankful I went to her! I have wanted a reduction for so long and I’m so thankful that she was my surgeon. She did such a great job. She explained everything thoroughly and helped make me less anxious and the results are so aesthetically pleasing. A life changing procedure, I highly recommend.
From long referral processing times (1.5 months to process a referral, not to get an appointment--she has lots of appointment availability), to scheduling mix ups, to a cold, uncaring, and unprofessional consultation... just awful. Didn't leave the room to let me put a gown on. I'm now months behind on finding a medical provider. I wouldn't recommend her to women who aren't slim. Her phone staff are kind and informative and Virginia Mason staff are helpful and kind.
