Dr. Schmidek is an amazing and extremely thorough surgeon. I just underwent double mastectomy chest masculinization with free nipple grafts. She took the time to explain everything and always made sure I had any questions answered. Her team of nurses are absolutely incredible and made me feel at home there. I live 3.5 hours from Seattle so I couldn’t go into see them with concerns. Using MyChart they responded very promptly and caring! What an insulting person. I've never been spoken to like that by a doctor in my life. Don't go to her if you are seeking care as a transgender person!
Botched my surgery, admitted to accidentally leaving tissue behind, refused to fix it and offered only worse options bc she messed up the initial surgery so badly. Horrible chop shop unless you are skinny and kiss her butt and agree with her aesthetic ideals.
