Alexander’s is near and dear to my heart, partly because it’s right in my building, but mostly because it’s such an institution for those of us who work downtown. I genuinely don’t know how Alex manages to remember the names of the vast majority of the people who walk through the door, but that tells you everything you need to know about the place. I ate the most delicious panini today! The "Alexander" was 💯 the best ever!!! Highly recommend!!

WHAT HAPPENED?! Alexander’s used to be the BEST place to get a quality sandwich. I didn’t mind paying a little extra for the quality. But now, the food is sub-par. Though the owner and his people are still awesome, I won’t be going back. My panini meat was cold and undercooked, the smoothies were AWFUL! I used to love this place. The abundance of flies made the indoor eating area even less appealing. 😩

Stopped in real quickly when I was passing through town via bus. This was only a short walk away from the bus terminal. They greeted me right when I came through the door, very friendly people! I ended up getting the Alexander panini. They prepared it very quickly, and it was very delicious and filling. It was such a delight to find in town here and the next time I pass through, I'll definitely make sure to stop in again!
