Contemporary Alexander Technique private lessons, workshops, and online group classes. Our mission is to provide an accessible and inclusive space to study The Alexander Technique. Contemporary Alexander Technique is the study of habit, awareness, and choice. More than simply easing symptoms, it addresses the structural roots of patterns that are no longer serving us empowering the student to relieve their own pain and tension, and rediscover ease, strength, flexibility, and joy in every activity of life. I'm just so glad that I was introduced to her because A.T. and Lyra's guidance has helped me improve both my physical and emotional well-being in a profound way. Physically, A.T., as a technique and in my opinion, is far superior to any physical therapy or manual/massage therapy. A session could feel like a really good and effective massage. Because of Lyra, much of my chronic ... read more
