My experience with Dr. Alexander Raw represents one of the most consequential failures of medical judgment I encountered during more than four years of severe abdominal illness. Dr. Raw performed my bilateral salpingectomy, D&C with exploratory following a previous tubal ligation using two Filshie clips. Does not listen to patient concerns. Flat-out told me there is no difference in the hormones of a 20 year old woman and a 45 year old woman, and seems to think perimenopause and any other female issue is not a big deal, and women should just deal with it. Dismisses concerns in a "I'm right, you're wrong, I refuse to listen" manner. Very condescending and rude. I got a 2nd opinion from another gynecologist, was given several treatment options, and I'm doing much better now.
Very thorough; listens to concerns and answers all questions. Entire staff is caring and compassionate! Highly recommended.
