Go somewhere else besides Deaconess. So many other offices and private practitioners will likely take your insurance or recommend someone who does. For many reasons I experienced, my care went from quality to quantity and I suffered for it. At the very least, know you will wait minimum an hour for your appointment even if you’re the first one. Most likely two or more hours waiting.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. He tried to overdiagnose me with so many things that no other psychiatrist ever saw in me (past or current psychiatrist). He also always ran VERY late with his appointments. I've also seen people go to him that were needing a psychiatrist but were ok, but after being his patient they went completely downhill (probably from believing his over diagnosis)...isn't this the opposite of what should happen?? I've struggled for many years with medications. It seemed like every appointment I had to ask to be upped on my medication lol. He has worked with me for years and we finally found a medication routine that seems to be working for me. I am thankful I have had the opportunity to get in with a psychiatrist like him because I know that some people wait years before being able to get in with one. He is the best psychiatrist I've ever interacted with.

I always have to wait at least and hour to an hour and a half past my appointment time. Extremely unprofessional.
