Hopefully he has grown up. He was the weakest oncologist, contributing to my son's death. MSK is an awful institution. Stay away! From day 1, my son was not diagnosed by his surgeon. Who is no longer there, by the way. No one told us he was Stage 3a after his first surgery for melanoma, we weren't given the opportunity to consider the reality of his situation after surgery. Dr. Shoushtari and his staff are truly remarkable. I cannot emphasize enough how caring and meticulous they are towards all their patients. Whether they travel far for treatment, like myself, or simply reside nearby, during my wait for my appointment, I have observed Dr. Shoushtari and his staff treating every patient with utmost care and attention. While no one enjoys being a part of this cancer journey, Dr. Shoushtari treats me with the utmost respect and compassion, as if I were a cherished family member.
Dr. Shoushtari is a caring and dedicated doctor. He shows us complete concern and responds to any and all of our health issues. He supports us in any way possible.
