UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: I won’t go back. He knows nothing about problems losing weight for women. When I asked about hormones he said my bloodwork was fine and seemed surprised about testing hormones. I told him about an article I read about hormones and he asked me to send it to him. NO! He’s the doctor and should know these things. I had an appointment a month ago, had lots of bloodwork and other tests done. They never called to tell me the results and I have called the office three times. Still no info or call backs... read more
I was hesitant about my first visit to an endocrinologist for thyroid/adrenal issues. It did take several months to get an appointment after a referral from my PCP. HOWEVER, I was so impressed with my initial appointment with Dr. Markov! He was patient as we went over my medical history, picked up on seemingly random symptoms and helped me correlate them to what may be going on, drew on his whiteboard to explain the thyroid & cortisol processes, explained the testing and how it informs treatment, and was overall just wonderf... read more
Excellent physician
I had an appointment a month ago, had lots of bloodwork and other tests done. They never called to tell me the results and I have called the office three times. Still no info or call backs. He seems to be a good doctor.
Highly recommend Dr. Markov. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and patient. I like how when I see him he takes the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions all while not making me feel rushed and I leave feeling assured.
