This practice has been very good and thorough during the years I have been a patient. However, my recent experience with cataract surgery was very disappointing. You meet with someone who is not a physician who sells you a lens that will supposedly provide you the results you are looking for. I scheduled what should have been a free, insurance-covered annual eye exam—confirmed in advance with both my provider (BCBS) and the office. Upon arrival, I was told I’d need to meet my deductible because they “can’t tell the doctor how to code the visit.” The front desk staff was cold and unhelpful. With no transparency and poor customer service, I left without receiving any care. Extremely disappointing experience.
First time as a patient. Very pleased with the very professional and knowledgeable staff. They answered all my questions. Katz was very kind and took his time to complete the exam and looked into my history and conditions.
