Alexander Construction is the BEST! They installed a support beam in our attic, removed walls and moved basement stairs to help us open our living space. The communication and work was excellent! They are so friendly, easy to work with and respectful! They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up each day, and listened to exactly what we wanted! We can’t thank them enough for the incredible job!
Destroyed the level of trust right out of the gate. Bait and switch. After discussing in detail , at my house. with their general contractor, excavator , and architect all present , the price and dimensions for the addition of a master bath/ master bedroom, we came to an agreement, shook hands, and anticipated breaking ground January 1st. Then the sketch came in significantly smaller with no reduction in price, no windows, and missing a door. Then said our agreed upon numbers and dimensions would be thousands more. Their crew does nice work, attention to detail, friendly. Only thing that hurts them is the communication is poor between scheduling with client, and between subcontractors also. I would hope this gives them an idea of what to work on to better their future relations with potential clients. We are happy with finished product but it definitely could have gone smoother and less stress for us if the communication was better.
Communication is terrible! They only respond to calls or texts when it is about picking up a check. I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemies!!!
Tim, and the entire crew from Alexander were easy to work, from start to finish. The communication, promptness, attention to detail, and professionalism were wonderful. We would highly suggest them for any of your construction needs. We love the roof over our outdoor space!
