I am a doctor of medicine Cape Coral, Florida and Andy Barnett has cared for my personal returns and all of my office accounting work for many, many years. Recently he was taken over by Mr. Alex Evers. Mr. Evers in my opinion is a perfect successor to Mr. Barnett. The office remains friendly, clean, professional and extremely responsive. They would rate my highest recommendation. I have read the other evaluations on this website I do not agree with them.

One star is too many. My 2 year experience with Alex Evers and then Barnette and Evers was a nightmare. No quality. No value. NO professionalism. Responsiveness non-existent. I had to have another firm amend all the work he did to have my returns be accurate and reclaim funds. My opinion...Potential Client Beware!

I had used Alex for a few years and never had any problems until 2016. He was responsible for submitting my payroll taxes and failed to make timely payments and even skipped a few and now I'm getting non-stop letters from the IRS due to his poor record of paying the taxes timely. I had to fire him and move my business to another accountant that is trying to resolve all the issues. Alex Evers came recommended to me, so I drove the hours necessary to meet him. After initially meeting Alex Evers we agreed to have him work on my company taxes... Days went by then weeks went by with no contact from Alex Evers. He did not respond to any of my emails, phone calls/voicemails. My husband is partners with a business with a company that used Alex Evers as their CPA. During tax time we reached out to this company to get a W-9 and Alex Evers told my husband that he had sent it already and verified my husbands info to make sure he sent it to the right place and then said he was sending it again. My husband never received it and called back a couple times with the same song and dance until he could no longer get Mr. Evers to come to the phone.
