We have been following chef AD cuisine for a while . Finally got to try this restaurant- at Hotel Cafe Royal , staff were warm and welcoming . Food was just mind boggingly good stunning - just amazing . Evey cource was super delicious. Right from the first courses - bread - appetiser - mains were super duper delicious - wine selection was reasonable Desserts were light and not sweet - so we loved the combination
Not great to be honest And certainly not worthy of 2 stars. The room is monotone, lacks intimacy, ambiance or style The vibe is just wrong. Zero atmosphere Ceilings too low, no real view of any kind. In or outside the room. Entrance is weird Service is definitely under par. Tables noticeably empty, with nothing laid out. When it was, it wasn’t done well at all. Exceptional experience, I highly recommend a visit to hotel cafe royal by Alex Dilling. Precision and depth of flavour throughout, combined with perfectly executed service. A highlight aside from the incredible food was Gisuappe the Sommelier, he took us on a truly memorable journey with an infectious smile and great energy!
A superb experience. From exceptional food to professional and very friendly welcome. Hard to put into word the experience. Suffice to say we had a smile on our face after each bite of an amazing 7.5 course dinner (we shared a chicken chasseur layered with flavours). A mention to the sommelier for an excellent wine pairing and an imaginative non-alcoholic pairing. We have been lucky to try a few Michelin restaurant, this one ranks on top of our list.
