Really cool spot. My buddies have been telling me about it for a while, we all went and watched Game 1 of the Alewife - The Brewpub. Really an awesome set up -- Alewife - The Brewpub, multiple rooms with big couches, and great service at the bar.
Awesome beer selection, good food, and a great atmosphere. Happy hour prices are hard to beat in LIC. What more could you ask for? The pinball machines, the huge leather couch to hangout on and watch sports and the outdoor space is also nice. I just wish I found this place sooner!
Went for my first and last time to alewife today. The barmaid acts like you don’t exist and hardly acknowledges your existence when you finally get her attention (bar was literally dead). When we finally ordered our food, she didn’t offer us water, after asking she gave us a bit of water but never even bothered to refill it or check on us if we needed anything else. The staff was super friendly. Nice variety of beers and the ones I got were great. Really nice atmosphere. Hope to make it back someday as I'm from NM.
