I went to the Pennsburg location in December 2024 (now closed) and was honestly nervous about wedding dress shopping. As a plus-size bride, I worried they might not have many dresses for me to try on or that my options would feel limited. Once I arrived, though, all of that disappeared. My consultant, Brynn, was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire appointment, and I am so thankful she was the one helping me find my dress. I went to 14 dress shops before finally finding the one at Alessia's Bridal! They had a fantastic selection of dresses, and everyone there is so kind. There were no issues at all. I also got my dress altered through their seamstress, Joscelyn. The process was so easy and my dress fit perfectly. Highly recommend!
I wanted to order a size 14 and have the sides taken in for my mob dress. They told me I needed a 16. When it was time for fitting I was arguing over and over about how the dress was hanging and the seamstress kept saying it for on my back. On hindsight I should have gone to another seamstress. I was so disappointed in how I looked at my daughter’s wedding. I have never paid as much for a dress as I did for that one. The dress hung on me like a sack. Alessias bridal was the one and only shop I went to until I said yes to the dress ! My experience with them has been nothing short of wonderful. I said yes to the dress April of 2024. I brought my MIL, mom and MOH. They were able to sit and relax comfortably as they watched me try on dresses for about an hour and a half !
