Dr Alessi is absolutely amazing. He has helped my son and my family beyond measure. I don’t know where we would be without him. He is so kind and knowledgeable and understanding. He is willing to work with me to figure out what my son -who is autistic, nonverbal and aggressive -needs in the moment and moving forward. No one else I’ve worked with is willing to try as hard as Dr Alessi does to make life just better for my son and family. I’m forever grateful.
Norm is a very straightforward and kind psychiatrist. He is determined, and will not give up. His faculty is amazing as well. He is unlike most psychiatrists in that he has his own way of practicing Medicine— It is very unique.
Dr Alessi is a horrible & incompetent doctor. We took my son to see him in Ann Arbor and Dr Alessi misdiagnosed my son’s condition and his "treatment" failed to help him in any way. To the contrary, the medication Alessi prescribed gave him suicidal thoughts and he was unable to concentrate! During the appointment, Dr Alessi was arrogant, rude & unprofessional; he thinks he can do no wrong. Avoid him at all costs!
