Frustrating! Customer service has gone bad! Even the recording states they're open until 5:30 weekdays. Called at 4:55, and NOPE! Just the recording that they're closed, but open until 5:30pm Banked here for 30 years. (Was Beacon Bank)- Lots of new hires who give wrong info. I PAY FOR THIS! Alerus, get it together! I am OUT!

Today….2 young men helped me with some savings bonds. They honestly were the kindest…most polite….helpful and knowledgeable people I have experienced in years and years. It was such a positive experience….it totally made my day. My sincere appreciation to them both😊
When I have to visit their bank, the staff is friendly and helpful. Banking online with them is another story, which is my preferred method of banking. Our Association does business with their Small Business Banking (they call it "Small Banking" now. Probably a typo) The login process is tedious. On the first login page, I have to enter our "Company ID" and "User ID". I am then taken to a second page which asks for a "Password". Although I see what I am typing on the first page, I do not have the option on the Password page.... read more
