Son and I were victims of an online Fraud scheme. Son has had this bank since 15 yrs old-Now 20. Son was tricked into depositing a fraudulent/phony $2400. check to our account-son has essentially very little money in account at the time-then was fraudulently tricked into sending a online transfer to the scammer. Alerus WRONGLY CASHED AND CLEARED a phony check with basicly no money in the account-Now holding us responsible for the over $2000.00 that the account is negative.
