I found this amazing small business through a friend at work who was wearing a necklace with her dogs nose print .. I fell in love and had to get one for my daughter and her dog , that was 3 years ago. Today I took my daughter and we picked out forever bracelets together . Alek has lovely jewelry. Her esthetic is simple, understated elegance. The design of her work really does fit a lot of people as I have recommended friends and family to visit her shop and at markets and we always walk away with new pieces. While she does have a lot of beautiful gold designs, her silver work is what I’m drawn to and it takes a lot of willpower not to buy every time I see her at a market. She is lovely to chat with and her personality comes through in her timeless work
Highly disappointed in the product itself as well as the customer service, which is a shame given how many wonderful reviews there are. I got a permanent bracelet done in early June which ended up breaking off the next day. I would like to say there was nothing that caused it to rip off and it didn’t get caught on anything since I didn’t even notice it was missing until I looked down at my wrist the next day and it was no longer there.
