Nice family owned place. I had to get a non-insurance paint job done and these guys are the only ones who offered me a quote that didn’t make me think i was getting ripped off. The job was done on time and high quality. I was quoted exorbitant prices at all the other highly rated places on google maps.
Really great experience at Alek's. Very honest and did great body work on my car, would recommend to anyone looking for a body shop in Ottawa.
Horrible attitude! I simply wanted to get my front bumper painted and replaced but the father told me “paint it and replace it yourself” and then hung up the phone. There were no even any discussions on the price during the call.
This is a shop that will not just do insurance claims which is rare but not unexpected as they are an owner managed business- in this sector that is a serious bonus because they can spend their time on your car as opposed to corporate paperwork. I dropped by unannounced and they fit me in to look at the small paint repair - you could tell they know the business just by listening to them - booked the appointment only a couple weeks out to fit my schedule- dropped it off and as promised, the call it was done a couple days late... read more
Customer service is to the point, honest prices, and great quality work. Update: went at the same location 2 other times after writing this review. I stand by my 5 stars review! Great folks, hard workers.
