My sister saw this doctor and he dismissed her, belittled her and ignored her requests. He treated her as just another number. Absolutely no care or concern for her. He and his staff should not be in the business of delivering babies.
Ladies, do not support this man. Consider all the negative reviews you’ve seen here. This is a pattern of negligence, pressure, and outright disregard for a woman’s autonomy. My sister-in-law’s experience is not an isolated incident. He dismissed her concerns, pushed interventions she didn’t want or need, used fear to try to control her decisions, and even performed a membrane sweep without her consent. Currently doing my prenatal here due to reviews that were “not so bad” than the other reviews in the area (which are horrible) but the past 7 months the reviews are pretty bad with him as well (looks like something changed). Office is very bad and messy, they book 10 patients for the same time and start appointments at 9am when the doctor only arrives at 9:30-9:45. I dont know about the Dr specifically but the office NEVER answers. At least then use an answering service.
Great staff, very nice and welcoming. Great doctor, takes care of concerns and needs when asked about, very friendly and gentle. Dr Barrera has delivered all 3 of my babies!! He’s wonderful
