If you are looking for a provider that is empathetic, understanding, and validates your concerns, I would look elsewhere. From the moment she walked in, it felt like I was a bother and our encounter was awkward...to the point I considered walking out. I waited months for this appointment, and was able to see another provider in between, which was great and has an awesome bedside manner. I still kept this appointment to get a second opinion and I wish I had just canceled it. I do not recommend.
I have seen her for over 20 years. Always a nice, simple in and out visit!!! No waiting forever to see the Dr. Nice and professional interaction. Extremely clean and very nice new Kelsey-Seybold facility!!!!! Always a very comfortable and painless examination.

Dr. Davis-Townsend is RUDE and does not care about her patients. I was referred to her due to women’s issues I have been experiencing, including anemia at one point. I tried to ask questions and she treated me like I was stupid. I think I am experiencing perimenopause. I understand I’m on the younger end of the perimenopause spectrum but it’s still possible and my symptoms do align with that. I wanted to have a discussion and I have valid reasons for my suspicions (like one of my aunts experienced menopause in her early 40s)... read more
