Pretty but mossy when we went. (Fall) Hike is uphill the whole way. But not bad.

Great Backpacking trip for beginners!
Great short hike about anyone can handle from small kids to your grandparents. Takes about 40 min including a number of short stops for pictures or to just take a break. You can walk all the way around the lake in either direction and enjoy the views and fresh air. Something fun to do if you're looking to get out.
