Italian restaurant The food was awesome and the service excellent too. The little bronze statues were a great talking point also. At the risk of being cliche'd.... I can't wait to go back!

would not dine at this place ever – We made a reservation for this restaurant for 25 people at 35.00 each including tax, gratuity, food and drinks at the end we received a bill for 918.88 (43.88 over charged) I told my wife that I would take care of it the next day since we did not want to ruin the celebration. I just got off the phone with Karen the manager whom knows nothing about customer service and numbers even though the over charge is clear she refused to refund the difference... will not use this place for any future... read more

They must work for a competitor – Great food, great service, great location. I am a Santa Barbara local and Italian food is not hard to come by on the American Riviera. But a place this good is. This is my families favorite italian place in the downtown area. The food is of much higher quality than Pillazos across the street without the wait. A disappointing experience – As a connoisseur of fine dining, I have fairly high standards when it comes to food but I?m not impossible to please either. On 15-FEB-2008, I dined at Aldos on State St. for the first time because I noticed their nice ad in the hotel city guide. I ordered the veal special that came with prosciutto and some ravioli. This place has a great location, which, in my opinion, is the only reason why it remains in business. The food is very mediocre, and a poor excuse for Italian food. Definitely overpiced, and the decor is pretty kitchy, too. Avoid at all cost, don't waste a meal here.
