Dr Z has been my rheumatologist since 2019 and she’s a great Doctor. She pays very close attention to what I say about the condition of my Rheumatoid Arthritis. Just last week I was having a lot of flareups and I am going through one today. We’ve built a new house and there are a lot of “physical” things that we are having to do. She ordered a 5 mg prescription of prednisone just for me to take when I have a flareup like I’m having today so I thank her for that.
She was attentive. Made sure we checked for every aspect to find out what is going on with me health wise.
One of the worst drs I’ve ever seen. Very cold and not compassionate. Basically told me in so many words that there was nothing wrong with me and I wasted her time. Lo and behold, found a different rheumatologist and it took some time, but I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. I also have Crohn’s. Wish I could go back and ask her why she was so dismissive. Not only is she methodical in her approach to treatment, but listens to my concerns and is receptive to any questions or test I may ask for she doesn’t balk at the mention of you googling different approaches to treatment and if she doesn’t think the test is necessary she explains in detail how and why the said test or treatment isn’t necessary, and explains it in a way that is understandable to the patient.
Very organized and efficient. Professional team, pleasant and lots of smiles and respect to fellow staff members and patients
