I was disappointed in my shopping experience at ALDI in Carrollton yesterday. The produce had not been restocked. The cucumbers that were left were soft and old; the green beans were "brown". Many bins were nearly empty. I spoke to two employees at check-out and they just nodded. I asked for a manager and she just looked at me and said that she had only been there since 3:30 ( maybe an hour). Love, love, love this store! You can buy all your staple items here, for half the price as anywhere else. While it does not have as many options as elsewhere, the fruit and vegetable prices can't be beat, anywhere! Everyone keeps asking me where I get all my nice fruit and vegetables...ALDI, for next to nothing! Why not share this secret with others? You will cut your grocery bills in half, guaranteed. I also love their European food selections like chocolate, cheese, etc. Don't be a snob, check it out, you won't regret it.
I been to the store at 3044 old denton, I am a dissable person with aone leg .I ask the cashier about amotor cart which normally all the grocery stores carry. I have used that before in the same above store.You know what i get reply ? we dont have one.I am a person who walks with a walker , how can i carry milk, eggs, bread and water in my hand and walk with all the above stuff. I need the reply in above matter. Cashier did not answer in the proper way.
Aldi's consistently has the lowest prices on staples (flour, sugar, milk, eggs). Aldi's also has a consistently unfriendly employee (Michelle). She consistently has little regard for placing groceries in the basket by randomly dropping them (flour, bread, sugar) and let them land where they may or piling them on top of each other (especially meat on containers of strawberries).
