Aldi is my go-to place for most of my groceries. Their produce is always fresh and their selection of items and Aldi’s prices rivals the large supermarket chains. Being a German company, Aldi carries a wide variety of German chocolates, and seasonal pastries around the holidays.
shopped at aldis the other day for the first time in years. Worst experience. Did an online pick up order. When I arrived it said someone else had picked my order up. So I had to go inside and wait several minutes for my actual order at which point the man just handed me the cart and didn’t offer to bring the items to my car… did a pickup order because I was extremely sick with a fever and other horrible symptoms. The store itself was fine. But one employee was using the floor cleaning near the entrance and kept basically pushing me and my partner out of the way and said "trying too do my job" was just super rude. She had black and red hair.
Aldi was my favorite place for grocery shopping . Lately , I'm losing the attraction . Product quality has improved but price is less competitive. The pick up experience was not pleasant . The system is not intuitive and has some glitches . The young man who brought the packages out never said a word .He opened the back of our vehicle, placed groceries, closed the back and walked away . There is also not a "no substitution" choice . That's right go back and click one item at a time .
