This Aldi’s has the best team EVER! I am not exaggerating- we’ve been to all of our local Aldi‘s- Ankeny, Urbandale, South Side, etc - Not one of the stores come even close to the level of professionalism, consistency and kindness of the staff at 3940 East 14th Street! Wendy, Cheryl and Joseph are pillars of professionalism and they fortunately reinforce policies so that products will be available for all customers! Have always liked going to the Aldi store. Sometimes I feel as tho I got a deal going there and sometimes I don't. They do have a wonderful wine section to choose from. They've updated a lot since I was in there last. Over all shopping experience was great!!!
Well organized store with a good selection. This Aldi needs self checkout; there is literally only ever one cashier anytime Ive been here and they damage my produce often. Service is usually good enough, some cashiers aren’t too nice when it gets busy. Parking lot is chaotic. UPDATE: Sadly, I am going from a 3 to 1 star review. This Aldi is usually only half stocked with many staple items not available most of the time. Please hire more people. This is the only Aldi where I only see one employee working.
