All aldi where clean and good price for the products
Decided to try out Aldi despite my initial skepticism (I had always gotten mixed reviews about their stores) because I was sick of paying what Dierbergs and Schnucks charge for produce. Placed the order online and went to pick it up. Efficient delivery and cost about 2/3 what I paid for at the other stores. Quality was surprisingly up to standards. Very busy location. Was well stocked but! Only one cashier and 3 self checkouts were out of order so we did spend time awkwardly in line by the freezer.
I had a really upsetting experience at this Aldi location last night. I lost my wallet several weeks ago and had already checked here within days after it went missing. I stopped in again just to see if it had turned up, especially since during my first visit no one actually checked with a manager or looked beyond giving a quick verbal “no.” The employee who helped me this time was kind and willing to help. It was so crowded it was hard to even move in the store. Then you have seven or eight self checkout, with only two open. Meanwhile, one of the managers is talking to another one of the managers while lines back up into the aisles. The two checkout people were doing their best, it just wasn't fair for them.
