My mother spent a great deal of time in the Jersey Ward. She was very well looked after and happy. Communication between staff and our family was excellent. Staff kept us updated with her progress and were happy to answer any questions that we put to them. I am disappointed with some of the comments on this review page, as governments are looking to close down rehabilitation hospitals like this one , leaving it to family and friends. Outpatient department, 4 x inpatient wards, stroke rehab, Haymoor Day Hospital, admin for Poole Adult and Older People's CMHTs. The Hospital's restaurant is open to the public, card payments only. Lovely range of food, plus vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Disgusting arrogant place. Lack of communication, fobing you off constantly, lies, appointments being cancelled with ZERO explanation and then they have a nerve to turn it around on you to make you look bad. I was severely depressed for 3 weeks but nothing despite trying to scream out for help they totally ignored like they haven’t got a care in the world. CMHT- Poor communication between departments and to GP. 20 minute appointments are really only 10 minutes. Appointments get cancelled. They discharged me because I missed a phone appointment that they changed 3 times. I just got confused. Diagnosis given after few 10 minute appointments without enough investigation. When feeling particularly bad and suicidal, I had to wait 4 months for an appointment, in which time I could have been dead. The way I felt at the time I wish I was.
