My experience at Elme Cumberland has thus far been a good one. Staff has been easy to work with and maintenance has been courteous and sincere, and has completed work orders in a timely manner.
You can’t enjoy your patio or take a walk without smelling weed and cigarette smoke. The lease states it’s illegal but they don’t care. You complain to management, nothing is done. They send an email or letter but they don’t adhere to it. It’s disgusting. The neighbor under me smokes on weekends after the office is closed. The female harassed me since I complained about the smoking. **UPDATE** New manager is trying regarding the weed and cigarette smoke. However, the people who are doing it just don’t care

Can't leave -100 stars? Cuz that's what this place deserves. They stole $400 from my friends by hiding hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of additional fees per month until AFTER they'd applied and paid the $400. They tricked them into paying the $400 knowing full well what their budget was, and that the final monthly was out of their budget. This place lied about "total monthly costs" until my friends had the actual contract. Please help us all by tanking this place's reviews.
UPDATE. They never did refund me. Stole $400. How these places get away with this is CRIMINAL. Don't rent here. Leave a bad rating even if you've never been here just to warn people from giving them more money cuz THEY WON'T GIVE IT BACK. SKETCHY BUSINESS THAT STEALS MONEY. Anything other than 1 star has obviously been paid for. They hide fees until you've paid them already, and even then you have to really dig it up what exactly you're being charged for. $1500 ends up being $2000.
