Alder Orthodontics is now The Smile Shoppe at Athens Orthodontics. The Richland Avenue location is now closed and Dr. Alder is now fully retired although his staff is now with us. Our location is 211 Columbus Road. Dr. Ewa Byczek and Dr. Molly Griffith look forward to meeting you soon.

We highly recommend Dr Alder and his staff, we had both of our girls get braces from him. He is experienced and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable with the process and are happy with the outcome.
I’m a student at OU and i went to this office for a simple repair of my permanent retainer. all i needed done was some glue put on it because it was loose. On the phone when i scheduled my appointment the women told me it would take 15 minutes so I made my appointment for 10 and told her I had to leave by 10:25 for class and she said no problem. All the staff are so nice . My son has been trying to get braces for years, Dr.Alder just made that possible and very stress free. They are upfront about cost and payments. A+ Service...
I have had nothing but an absolute perfect experience with Dr. Alder. In the past, I have visited many dentists who were more concerned about how fast they could get me out of the chair rather than the quality of the dental work. Dr. Alder is the complete opposite. He has gone above and beyond to help me during my time at the office. I’m sad that I am relocating to another state and have to transfer my treatment.
