I visited Alder Hey Hospital A&E on Wednesday night last week with my two children (aged 7 and 2). Both had a high fever, cough, runny nose, and my older child was struggling to breathe properly complained with chest pain. Instead of being seen and properly checked by a doctor, we were redirected to their GP appointment arranged by the hospital. I went at 11pm a couple of weeks ago, I saw at least like 10 different families. I thought “I’m gonna be here for a while” but I was proven wrong within 20 minutes of signing in I got seen, x rayed and given a boot for my leg injury. All in the span of around 1h 30mins. Needless to say, they are really quick and one of the best Emergency Departments I’ve ever been to. Thanks Alder Hey!

I've never seen a hospital fail like this in my life. My son was suffering from constant vomiting, and they told me he was seen by a doctor eight hours later!!!!! But children playing in front of me who came after me were brought into the emergency room!! I think there's a kind of racism going on.
